The Amy Winehouse Project is not just an addiction recovery center. It’s truly intensive mental health therapy in early recovery. Our mission is to help individuals identify, address and overcome the underlying issues of their addiction and find the right and effective long-term path in sobriety. We are dedicated to treat all clients with dignity, respect, and empathy, seeing the unique individual behind the addiction.
A better life awaits.
Our clinical program at The Amy Winehouse Project is focused on the individual needs of our clients, who come to us from all over the world. We offer personalized, evidence-based treatment. We incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative and Experiential Therapies, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapies. We also believe in the mind/body connection which incorporates mindfulness, nutrition, exercise and physical wellness. Our staff are highly skilled in the field of mental health and addictions, and specialize in substance abuse counseling, trauma-based interventions and process addiction therapy. In addition we offer family therapy, fitness, and life skills training. We are focused on treating the core issues at the root of addiction such as personality disorders, family dysfunction, and other mental health issues that so often plague those suffering with addiction.
We offer individual and group psychotherapy, as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) group programs, fitness and wellness training, and case management services. We provide clinical programming to meet the needs of all our clients, and offer a range of groups throughout the day, up to 5 days per week. Our unique DBT group programming has been tailored to clients who are seeking skills for long-term substance-abuse recovery, as well as individuals who are struggling with self-harm and issues related to emotional dysregulation. In keeping with our treatment model, The Amy Winehouse Project also offers aftercare outpatient and individual therapy to clients who wish to engage in longer-term treatment.
The Amy Winehouse Project is committed to helping people find their way in recovery, and our philosophy and approach is geared toward understanding that substance abuse issues rarely occur in isolation. For this reason, our highly-skilled and trained treatment team is dedicated to helping those struggling with addiction, life skills, and co-occurring mental and emotional disorders. Our focus is on working with clients to build self-esteem and confidence and incorporate the skills necessary for leading healthy, fulfilling, and productive lives.
