What we treat

Amy Winehouse Project is a substance abuse, dual diagnosis, and mental health treatment facility. Our primary purpose is to provide excellence in clinical care and support services for individuals struggling with chemical dependency or alcoholism, with or without co-occurring mental health issues. From years of experience treating individuals with addiction, we understand that more frequently, issues of substance abuse do not occur in a vacuum. Most individuals seeking treatment for substance abuse also present with at least one other mental health issue. These issues most commonly present as depression and/or anxiety, and can also include eating disorders, trauma/PTSD, grief and loss, and/or personality disorders. Our clinical team is comprised of mental health professionals who are highly experienced in the treatment of addictions, and in particular, approaches that are evidenced-based and researched as having the highest possible chance of success in long-term sobriety. In addition, our licensed clinicians have a strong educational background in mental health, and are experienced in working with individuals presenting with a wide range of mental health symptoms, as well as dual-diagnosis clients. Because understand that each client who struggles with addiction will often present with other critical clinical issues requiring attention, we utilize a multidisciplinary team approach. This enables us to provide treatment services that are specifically developed and most beneficial for those who attends our program. Our treatment plans are individualized, and tailored for the best possible outcome to meet the needs of each client.

Our clients come to us from all over the world. We are closely connected with treatment facilities across the United States, United Kingdom, and the Caribbean. We work with individuals who are seeking day treatment programming that is carefully structured and geared towards achieving the greatest likelihood for success in long-term recovery. Our primary purpose is to establish our clients in an environment that is both supportive and at the same time, gives them the right amount of room to develop healthy independence. Our aim is to provide ongoing treatment and support to individuals who are ready to integrate back into their community, but with the right amount of support in place to provide them with ongoing treatment for any issues that might bring about a relapse. We address issues proactively, while simultaneously helping our clients to navigate their way back to an esteemed life. We provide a safe haven of support not only to our clients, but also to their families, who know that their loved ones are in the best possible hands.

Because we are a day treatment program, we have established strong relationships with only the most reputable sober residences in the areas surrounding Delray. We work with only certified housing facilities with whom we have a close, ongoing communication, in order to ensure a complete continuum of care for our clients.
